
Any faxes received while the error message is on the display will automatically go into the machine's memory due to the product's inability to print. Be fore going to warranty options, it is recommended to transfer your faxes and fax journal report.

If "Unable to Clean 76" returns to the display, go to step 6.Ħ. If the PQCS prints with no error, press ◄ to return to the main menu. Print a Print Quality Check Sheet (PQCS):ī. Carefully check the left (1) and right-hand (2) corners and under the print head for any paper scraps or other debris that may be jammed. The print head can be moved from side-to-side as needed. The print head will need to be in the middle so the corners can be checked for paper scraps. P ress and hold Stop/Exit (without closing the scanner cover) for at least 5 seconds until the print head moves to the center of the machine.ĭ. Touching the encoder strip with bare hands/fingers may cause additional machine errors. This is the thin strip of plastic that stretches across the width of the machine.
